Corporate Relationship Manager

David Horscroft

David has worked for the Australian Retirement Fund, now AustralianSuper following the merger with Superannuation Trust of Australia, since 2001 as a Relationship Manager and now in the role of Corporate Relationship Manager. He draws on 19 years experience in the superannuation industry and adds great value to the experience employers and members alike have with the Fund. David has previously held senior relationship roles at St George Bank and AMP and has undertaken the role of Fund Secretary to approximately 20 individual superannuation schemes, including Defined Benefit, Accumulation and Hybrid funds. He is experienced in the acquisition and amalgamation of corporate superannuation funds and well versed in the universal need of clients for the practical application of superannuation legislation. David holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning).

Trish Curry

Trish is the Corporate Relationship Manager of AustralianSuper's Corporate Plans based in Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. She is responsible for overseeing the transition to AustralianSuper, co-ordinating education programs, creating strategic business plans and providing Consultative Committee and Executive Updates on a quarterly basis to our Corporate clients. She has eleven years experience in the corporate superannuation industry, in the areas of client relationship management, business development, administration and communications. Trish has a Bachelor of Arts - majored in International Politics and French, the ASFA 100 (Certificate of Superannuation Management), and a Diploma of Financial Planning - (Managed Investments, Superannuation and Life Insurance).

New South Wales

Andrew MacIver

Andrew worked with STA for three years. He has completed the Diploma of Financial Planning and is PS 146 certified.

Bruce Taylor

Bruce is a Relationship Manager whose superannuation experience is derived from a variety of financial service related roles with Career Corporation, Chifley Financial Services and now AustralianSuper. He has also worked as an organiser for the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union and is PS 146 certified.

Camille Nicholson

Camille has been a Relationship Manager for STA for some years and continues in this role with AustralianSuper. She has worked in the finance industry for seven years, having spent two years as a Financial Adviser before moving to STA. Camille has completed a Diploma in Financial Planning.

Claire Cremer

Claire is a Relationship Manager with strong interpersonal skills that allow her to provide very high service levels to both employers and members. Prior to commencing with the AustralianSuper, Claire worked in a variety of roles, including industrial relations, which exposed her to the wide range of issues impacting on superannuation. Claire has commenced studying a Diploma in Financial Planning and is PS 146 certified. She is also undertaking a Bachelor of Business.

Ian Masters

Ian has a wealth of experience that he brings to his role as Relationship Manager in NSW. Ian has spent 14-years in Employee and Employer Relations before he joined STA, four years ago. His academic qualifications include Associate Diploma in Financial Planning, an Associate Diploma in Industrial Relations.

Silas Lightfoot

Silas has a sound knowledge of the finance industry, which adds to his skills as a Relationship Manager. Silas has six years experience in the finance and banking industry, and most recently with Members Equity. Silas has completed the Diploma of Financial Planning. He is also undertaking a part-time Diploma of Law.

Northern Territory

Darryl Florance

Darryl is a long-term Territorian who provides valuable experience to AustralianSuper as a Relationship Manager. His superannuation industry experience spans more than 15 years and includes a variety such as the Northern Territory Superannuation Office, client service/technical support for Financial Synergy and more recently as an administration manager with Towers Perrin. Darryl has a Certificate in Financial Markets from the Securities Institute of Australia and the Diploma of Financial Services (Superannuation) - ASFA and the Certificate of Superannuation Management (ASFA).

Queensland

Ray Robinson

Rays wealth of superannuation knowledge contributes to his success as a Relationship Manager. Ray has a total of 42 years in the superannuation industry with the last seven at STA. Ray holds a Certificate in Superannuation Management and Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning). Ray has been involved for 15 years with AFSA and is currently on the Queensland Executive, Functions Committee and Administration Group.

Susan Ryan

Susan brings 10 years experience of the superannuation industry to her role as a Relationship Manager for AustralianSuper. Susan has held various senior roles at Superpartners as an administrator of insurance and claims, Team Leader for Customer Service, Administration Manager Queensland Branch and Client Service Advisor for ARF. She has her ASFA - Certificate of Superannuation Management and is soon to commence studying a Diploma of Financial Planning.

Tim O’Neill

Tim draws on 26 years experience in the superannuation industry in his role as Relationship Manager in QLD. Before joining STA, he worked at the NSW Coal Miners Superannuation Board, Pillar Administration and the Superannuation Trust of Australia. Tim has obtained an ASFA 100 certificate and Diploma of Financial Planning modules 1 & 4.

Regional Manager

Southern Division - Relationship Manager Anna Aristotle

Anna is responsible for AustralianSuper’s Relationship Managers and ensures they are focused on the timely and efficient provision of services to members and employers. Anna has considerable knowledge and experience in the superannuation industry. She was a Relationship Manager with ARF for three years before being appointed to the position of National Manager of Superannuation Services. Before joining ARF, Anna worked as the Business Development Manager for JUST Super. She was also employed by the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees, first as Recruitment and Education Officer and subsequently as General Manager. Prior to that she worked for the Health Services Union of Australia in a variety of marketing, education and industrial-oriented roles. Anna has the ASFA Certificate in Superannuation Management and a Diploma in Financial Advising and in Financial Planning and Advice from the Securities Institute.

Northern Division - Relationship Manager Jim Docherty

Jim is AustralianSuper's Northern Division Relationship Manager. He is responsible for the provision of employer and member superannuation and Fund-related activities in New South Wales, Queensland, Australian Capital Territory and the Northern Territory.

Prior to joining AustralianSuper, Jim worked in a variety of superannuation and administration-related roles for organisations such as AMP, CSR, Noble Lowndes, Mercantile Mutual and Capita. He is extremely well qualified, having gained both the ASFA Certificate and Diploma in Superannuation Management. Jim's client-service and attention to detail are highly valued by his clients, as are his excellent group presentation skills.

South Australia

Gary Bridle

Gary’s industry knowledge and dedication have been vital to his success as a Relationship Manager for AustralianSuper Gary has 18-years experience in the superannuation industry with 11 at the Superannuation Trust of Australia, and as the Deputy Chair of the ASFA South Australian branch from 2000-2002 His qualifications include the ASFA 100 certificate of Superannuation management, a Diploma of Financial Planning modules 1, 2, 3 and 5.

Randolph Nevis

Randolph has 10 years experience in the superannuation industry, which he now applies to AustralianSuper. Randolph worked with STA for four years and spent six years as an Executive within Industry Funds and is a Member of the Executive Committee - ASFA (SA Div). His academia includes a Bachelor of Business (Administration Management) and is currently working towards a Diploma of Financial Planning. He is a Fellow of ASFA and has obtained his Financial Product Advice qualification.

Wendy Clarke

Wendy’s role as a Relationship Manager is backed by a career in the financial services industry that has spanned for more than 25 years. She has a diverse background, having qualifications in information technology management and accounting and a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning at the Securities Institute. Before joining ARF, Wendy worked as an Area Manager for the Bank of South Australia.

South Australia and Tasmania

Malcolm Kinter

Malcolm brings valuable experience as a financial planner to his role as a Relationship Manager with AustralianSuper. He is well versed in superannuation and has many years experience in the financial services industry and has worked previously at Industry Fund Services and Colonial Mutual (now known as CommInsure). Malcolm is currently completing a Diploma of Financial Planning. Malcolm is a skilled educator with a relaxed and friendly presentation style who is able to build a rapport with employers and members at all levels.

Victoria

David Adams

David is a Relationship Manager whose superannuation experience comes from a number of roles including member education, contact centre management, and fund administration. David has an Economics Degree, a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), and is working towards the Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning). Prior to joining the superannuation industry, David had extensive customer and client service experience within the banking and airline industries, fulfilling prior positions at Mercer HR Consulting, ANZ Banking Group and Ansett Australia.

Jason Dreger

Jason brings over 10 years experience within the financial services sector to his role as a Relationship Manager to AustralianSuper. Prior to Joining ARF in 2006, Jason has worked as a financial planner with ANZ Banking Group Limited and as a private client adviser for IOOF Investment Management Limited. He is currently studying a Degree in Financial Planning and has spent almost three years at Australian Administration Services (AAS) – a company specialising in backend administration support to superannuation funds.

Louise Charsley

Louise joined STA in October 2005 as a Relationship Manager for STA’s Food & Confectionery Super Division. She has 15 years experience in the superannuation industry with the last 6 having been as a Client Service Adviser for the MTAA Superannuation Fund at Superpartners. Louise has a Diploma of Superannuation Management, which she completed in 2002.

Patricia James

Patricia undertakes her role as a Relationship Manager with 20 years of finance experience behind her. Patricia has worked for four years at STA and has spent many years as an Industrial Officer for the Financial Sector Union. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts from Melbourne University and a Graduate Diploma in Labour Relation Law.

Peter Clifford

Peters experience in superannuation business development and account management with HOSTPLUS has been invaluable in his role as a Relationship Manager for AustralianSuper. Prior to entering the superannuation industry, Peter spent 15 years in the print sector working for a variety of companies including Color Solutions, Pre-Press Holdings and Salisbury Advertising Services, where he was responsible for maintaining a client base and sourcing new business. Peter has completed a number of modules in the Diploma of Financial Planning.

Peter Treseder

Peter has over 22 years in the superannuation industry, with 15 years in business relationship development and consultancy. Peter has a Diploma in Superannuation Management Member Education. He has also been a member of the planning committee for the Conference of Major Superannuation Funds.

Pia McGorlick

Pia joined ARF in 2005 as a Relationship Manager. Pia’s previous roles include working as a financial planning consultant for Industry Fund Financial Planning where she provided fee-for-service financial planning advice to superannuation fund members and conducted retirement, financial planning and debt reduction seminars. Pia holds a Graduate Diploma of Financial Advising from the Securities Institute of Australia. She has also completed a Certificate of Superannuation Management from the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA), a Leadership Development Program with Zenger Miller.

Shona Kelsey

Shona has 20 years in the Superannuation and Financial Industry and is an affiliate of the Australian Insurance Institute. Shona has completed the subjects required for the Diploma of Financial Services and has one subject to complete to achieve the Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Superannuation).

Western Australia

Clare Speed

Clare’s extensive experience in providing employers and members with practical solutions to their superannuation needs is vital for her role as Relationship Manager for Western Australia – a dynamic state with a diverse range of growing industries to keep her challenged. Clare has more than 10-years experience with financial advice and consultancy – working for organisations such as Industry Funds Financial Planning, and Financial Solutions of Australasia Pty Ltd. Clare has a Bachelor of Business Degree (with a double major in Human Resources Management and Marketing) and a Diploma of Financial Planning.

Linda Burns

Linda has many years experience in the finance & superannuation industry and has recently returned to Western Australia after spending 3 years based in Newcastle, NSW as an AustralianSuper Relationship Manager for the Northern regions of Sydney to Coffs Harbour. Linda’s extensive experience in providing employers and members with practical solutions to their superannuation needs is vital for her role as a Relationship Manager for Western Australia - a dynamic state with a diverse range of growing industries. Linda has a Bachelor of Business Degree (with a double major in Finance and Information Systems), a Diploma of Financial Planning and she is currently completing her Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning.
