Welcome to AustralianSuper’s ASX 200 Research Tool
The ASX 200 Research Tool provides up-to-date information on the stocks within the S&P/ASX 200 to help you keep in touch with your ASX 200 investments which includes:
- A company overview or Snapshot of each ASX 200 stock
- A daily Bulletin providing an overview of the market events from the previous day
- Monthly Report summarising market activity for the previous month.
The broker for this Option, Macquarie Equities Limited, provides this research information on a daily basis. To access Macquarie Equities Limited's research information, you need to be registered with AustralianSuper’s MemberOnline.
If your employer is a stockbroker, you will need your employer to sign a Referral Agreement before you can participate in the ASX 200 Shares Investment Option. You can download a Referral Agreement from the Forms and Publications section of this website.
Other research material
If you invest or sell stocks in the ASX 200 Shares Investment Option you should keep yourself abreast of developments in the sharemarket by reading the business sections of the daily newspapers.
You can also read company annual reports which you can obtain by calling the company or accessing their website.
The Australian Stock Exchange (www.asx.com.au) also publishes any stock suspensions as well as online tutorials about share trading.
An online investment dictionary, the Oxford Dictionary of Australian Investment Terms from INVESCO Australia Ltd, is also available if you wish to familiarise yourself with any investment-related terms.
Snapshots
Every trading day* at 11 a.m. an updated Snapshot or overview of each S&P/ASX 200 company and its performance will be published. The Snapshot includes a business description and strategy analysis of each company as well as its share price performance and Macquarie Equities Limited's recommendation.

Daily Bulletin
Every trading day* at 11 a.m. an updated Daily Bulletin is published, providing members with overnight market action, market indices, the market events for that day and Macquarie Equities Limited's stock recommendations.

Monthly Report
The Monthly Report provides a sharemarket analysis with an emphasis on Australian stocks. It includes Macquarie Equities Limited's recommendations, earnings forecasts, earnings revisions and some overviews of selected stocks.

Applications to buy or sell stocks in the ASX 200 Shares Investment Option that are received by AustralianSuper between 1pm Friday and 1pm the following Friday – or by Sunday midnight if submitted via MemberOnline – will be implemented on the first trading day of the following week ie. the following Monday (or next day in the event of a public holiday).

The Fund will issue letters confirming initial choices, entry price per share, any changes to your investment choice and confirmation of the effective date.
You will receive information regarding dividends together with an amount representing any associated imputation credits in your half-yearly, end-of-year and exit member statements. These will be reported per company as a dividends earned contribution.
