Making the right choice for you.

Your risk profile will depend on the type of investor you are, your investment time frame and the level of risk you are prepared to take. This Risk Profile Quiz can help you work this out. Remember, it is a guide and may not accurately reflect your particular circumstances.

For each of the questions below, select the response that most applies to you. There is no right or wrong answer.

A. I expect my money will remain invested with AustralianSuper for:
Less than 3 years.
4 to 7 years.
More than 7 years.
B. If my account balance fell, I would:
Be unable to sleep.
Worry, but not excessively.
Be concerned but remind myself that super is a long-term investment.
Be unconcerned, as I know that over time my investment will grow.
C. I feel most comfortable with:
A safe investment, even if it means a consistently low return.
A steady investment that gives a solid return.
An investment with above-average returns that sometimes moves up and down.
An investment that may move up and down regularly, but rewards me with high returns in the long term.
D. My AustralianSuper account holds:
All of my investment assets.
More than 50% of my investment assets.
Less than 50% of my investment assets.
Less than 20% of my investment assets.
E. My preference is for investments that are:
Low risk, low return.
Medium risk, medium return.
Above-average risk, above-average return.
Likely to provide the highest possible return, even if this means high risk.
