The admin fee is increasing

Choice Income and TTR Income

From 30 March 2019, the account-keeping fee will increase from $1.50 to $2.25 per week, which is an additional $39 per year. The existing asset-based fee of 0.11% pa of your account balance (capped at $750 pa) will stay the same.

AustralianSuper manages costs carefully to keep fees as low as possible. For almost a decade, the administration fee hasn’t changed, while costs have continued to increase. This change is about ensuring we can continue to provide you with the products, benefits and services you expect from AustralianSuper.

You don’t need to do anything

The increase will apply to your account from 30 March 2019 and be reflected in your 2018-19 Annual Statement, so there’s nothing you need to do.

Where your fees go

As a profit-for-member super fund, these additional administration fees will be directed towards providing better products and services for you, not paying profits to shareholders.

Striking the right balance

When considering fees and costs, it’s important to take into account investment returns and other member benefits. Over 1, 3 and 10-year return periods, the Choice Income Balanced investment option has consistently outperformed the median return of the SuperRatings SRP50 Balanced (60-76) Index to 30 November 2018.
