Together we’re going from strength to strength
AustralianSuper is one of Australia’s largest superannuation funds, employing more than 490 staff. We’re united in helping members achieve their best possible retirement outcome.
AustralianSuper is driving innovation and setting new standards in member retirement outcomes and service, building our operations from local to global. We’ve recently established an office in Beijing, to be closer to the world’s largest emerging market economy and our overseas presence will continue to grow.
We’ve also launched our online member portal and advice tools, raising the member services benchmark to a new level. To make such innovation happen, and to achieve the best possible retirement outcomes for our members, we’re always seeking to attract the best talent and for our people to never stop improving.
We aim to have a workforce that is diverse and reflects our membership and the broader community. We pursue a number of initiatives to promote improved workforce diversity, particularly in regard to gender balance, pay equity and flexible work arrangements. In fact we’ve held the WGEA Employer of Choice for Women award for the past three years.
Over the next 5 years AustralianSuper will continue to grow. We'll use our size, strength and capabilities to deliver market leading investment performance, products and services to meet our members’ needs. To achieve this we will stay true to our organisational values and culture, investing in our people, bringing innovation to the way we work and leading the industry while constantly raising the bar.
Ian Silk, Chief Executive
“AustralianSuper was formed in 2006 through the merger of Australian Retirement Fund (established 1986) and Superannuation Trust of Australia (established 1987).
“Since then we’ve grown to become a $100 billion dollar industry fund with more than 2.1 million members, with the core principle of putting members first. Members are at the centre of everything we do, and our aim is to provide them with the best possible retirement outcomes with an “all profits for members” philosophy.
“We aim to have a workforce that is diverse and reflects our membership and broader community. This is an important part of building our organisational capability. The fund pursues a number of initiatives to promote improved workforce diversity outcomes, particularly in regard to gender balance, pay equity and flexible work arrangements.
"Our members first essence, together with our four organisational values of excellent outcomes, integrity, generosity of spirit and energy, direct our behaviours and decisions.
“We seek the brightest, highest calibre individuals to join our team, who are committed to these same goals and values."
